We’ve been in the nanny business since 2005 using what we learned to find care for our own family and friends to develop My Good Nanny. Our Mission is simple: To help families and individuals find the best diverse babysitters and nannies on the planet.
Why We Exist
Almost 6 years ago, my husband and I were faced with the challenge of finding a Christian, honest, trustworthy, diverse nanny for our newborn daughter when I had to go back work after maternity leave. As you can imagine, It was a very stressful time. Fortunately, I was blessed to find someone that understood my culture, my language, and my food. The process was not easy. After finding nannies for all my mommy friends in my same situation, My Good Nanny was born. At My Good Nanny we do not cut corners. Your family’s safety is our number one priority. I know the hardest decision any parent faces is finding good childcare providers. I understand your needs, concerns, and fears because I have been in your shoes. I have put a great deal of effort into making this site easy, safe, and secure as possible in order to help you successfully find the best babysitter or nanny for your family.
How We Work
We take pride in operating our business with adherence to four basic values: discretion, integrity, service, and diligence. We have built our business largely through word-of-mouth, and we value the opportunity to serve fair and respectful clients in any way that we can. We also seek to deliver a highly personalized level of service. We prefer to begin every engagement with a complimentary telephone consultation. We explore the client’s lifestyle objectives, service level requirements, cost objectives and current needs. We are an exclusive, Christian company. We do not accept every search.
Over the past couple of years, we have conducted over 8,000 searches for families and celebrities. We focus on selecting the right person for each family. Our present database includes over 5,000 candidates. In recent years, we have expanded our business to include event services, and we are always seeking additional services, people, and operating practices to improve our value proposition to clients and candidates. We always check references, run background checks, and conduct in-person interviews. We offer assistance with family coaching, nanny training and interviewing, and day-to-day administration.
Together, these efforts all serve to reduce headaches and free up more of our clients’ most precious resource, time.
